We have added an entirely new section on Blue Bulgaria, featuring the greatest Bulgarian opera singers. Bulgaria has an established musical tradition: starting with Orpheus whose legend can be traced to the Rhodopes mountains, to famous opera singers like Ghena Dimitrova and more recently popular singers such as Pasha Hristova and Anelia.

Maybe the most famous modern dramatical soprano is Ghena Dimitrova, but other performers show the vitality of the Bulgarian opera tradition, such as Ljuba Welitsch, Nicolai Ghiaurov, Darina Takova, Alexandrina Milcheva or Vesselina Kasarova.
