Anelia, Azis, Gergana are perhaps the best-known representatives of Bulgarian Chalga pop music, a mix of oriental and western styles. However these singers are only representative of the Chalga style, and there are many other singers venturing in original music. Take Beloslava for example, Bulgaria’s uncontested electro-jazz diva. Or Karizma, who produce quality electronic music. Or talented 60′s and 70′s artists like Pasha Hristova and Lili Ivanova, whose music remains popular even today.
