Arbanasi is one of the most picturesque villages in Bulgaria, sitting atop a cliff overlooking Veliko Turnovo. You may want to check out my own pictures of Veliko Turnovo and some interesting videos about that great city. This picture was taken by Marin Nikolov.

Bulgaria: Beyond the crowd is a photodocumentary showcasing many of the less visited places in Bulgaria. This documentary includes pictures of Veliko Turnovo, Rila, Bachkovo, some lesser-known Black Sea resorts like Ahtopol and Sinemorets, and of course the Rhodopes and Pirin mountains.
